There is a particular quality of light in a New York morning - grey, diffuse, neitherarriving nor departing. readyready was born in that light. Not from ambition, butfrom attention.
We make press-on nails. But what we are really making is a pause. A small ritual at anarrow table, before the city asks anything of you.

In 1924, Loro Piana did not announce the finest wool in the world. They simply sourcedit - from flocks no one else could reach, in valleys no one else thought to visit. Thecloth spoke for itself.


readyready was founded on the same conviction. There is a version of the press-on nailthat is made quickly, priced broadly, and forgotten by Thursday. We are not thatversion.


We make nails the way a Japanese lacquer craftsman makes a bowl: obsessively,unhurriedly, with the understanding that the person who holds it will know thedifference - even if they cannot name it.

Every formula is tested across2oo wear cycles before release.We decline any material thatcompromises the nail bed - regardless of cost.

HANDWORK

Shaping, filing, and finalbuffing are done by trainedhands, not machines. Weproduce fewer pieces. Eachone is better for it.

RESTRAINT

We release 15 collections per Month. No capsules, no collabs, nourgency. The work determinesthe timeline - not the calendar.

THE MATERIAL SPECTRUM

ENTRY

ABS Plastic - Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene

The material of Lego bricks and phone cases. Cheap to mold, easy to color, lightweight. Usedby KISS, imPRESS, and every $8 drugstore set. Opaque finish disguises material quality.Scratches easily; surface dulls within days. No structural flex - it bends and then snaps.

Verdict: commodity shelf product. The starting point, not the destination.

MID

PMMA - Polymethyl Methacrylate (Acrylic)

Denser, harder, optically clearer than ABS. The same polymer family as luxury watch crystalsand aircraft windows. Glass-like surface holds gloss longer. Excellent for sheer and glazedfinishes because light transmits cleanly through the material rather than diffusing. Brittleunder sharp impact - trades flexibility for clarity.

Verdict: a meaningful upgrade. The material of ambition-used correctly, it reads as professional.

PREMIUM

UV/LED-cured polymer matrix

Not a plastic. A cross-linked polymer network that behaves like living tissue - it flexes withthe natural nail rather than against it. Optical depth that reads as translucency, not shine.Virtually indistinguishable from an in-salon gel set. The nail moves when your hand moves;no pressure points, no lifting from the cuticle edge. Can be filed and shaped post-cure. Eachpiece is individually cast and finished - mass production is structurally impossible atquality.
Verdict: the only material that earns the word "luxcury."readyready's foundation.
